Discoverability & Indexability
Can search and answer engines reliably access the intended public content?
AEO Readiness is a 100-point score built from 50 atomic rules. Every rule declares its weight, evidence level, evaluator type, applicability, threshold, and remediation path.
Run a public auditCan search and answer engines reliably access the intended public content?
Can machines confidently determine who the organization is, what it offers, and how its entities relate?
Does the site directly and completely resolve the questions people actually ask?
Are important claims specific, supportable, attributable, and useful enough to cite?
Is the information represented clearly in HTML, metadata, structured data, links, and accessible semantics?
Are facts current, internally consistent, canonical, and maintained intentionally?
Documented directly by a search or answer engine. Product language can say the platform documents, requires, recommends, or reports it.
Credible research or repeatable experimentation supports the factor, but it is not represented as a universal ranking rule.
Measured in first-party engine data or CoMavenAI benchmark observations. Correlation stays correlation.
Emerging or plausible practices. Experimental signals receive no core readiness points unless a future methodology version promotes them.
Deterministic: crawler access, index controls, canonicals, sitemap signals, structured-data validity, link structure, and similar machine-verifiable facts.
Jev: high-volume typed judgments such as answerability, entity clarity, evidence quality, and citability, behind a confidence-routed provider abstraction.
Frontier reasoning: deeper semantic analysis, ambiguous cases, and remediation generation.
Observational: first-party webmaster reporting and sampled cross-engine visibility measurements.
The readiness score never silently absorbs citation counts, brand mentions, or sampled engine observations.
AI Visibility is measured separately through citation rate, query coverage, engine coverage, brand mention rate, citation support depth, sampled citation share, factual fidelity when verified, and repeat consistency.
That separation lets a company see whether the problem is its site, its external authority, the query set, or simply that visibility has not developed yet.
